Meet Our Team

Our current members have over 70 years combined experience in various aspects of the real estate industry--we would welcome the opportunity to assist with your property transaction needs.
Doug spent the initial 21 years of his career working for multiple national homebuilding firms, honing his understanding of the production housing business and specifically, the acquisition and development of vacant land to satisfy divisional pipeline needs.

In 2001, his continually growing entrepreneurial spirit was finally satisfied when he and two other founding partners, Ray Giudice and Jim Joyce (since retired), established Iron Horse Properties, LLC to craft development projects that fell more in line with their vision for communities incorporating a dynamic nucleus.

When Doug is not out scouting property leads and development activity in the local marketplace, you might find him walking the links perfecting his short game. For over 25 years, he has been an avid member and supporter of Fulton, MD based Grace Community Church, acting as a trusted advisor to their leadership and a financier with respect to the congregation's growth and expansion activities, as well as actively participating in various community-service related endeavors sponsored by Grace.  Additionally, he is a supporter of Overland Missions, an organization whose objective is to advance the Kingdom of God and whose global footprint spans 16 countries in 4 different continents, as well as being very involved with the Chin Association of Maryland, a local non-profit entity whose mission is the advocacy for the Chins, an ethnic nationality originating from the country of Burma, for religious freedom and human rights in Burma and the successful integration into American society for those Chin refugees fleeing from Burma.

Following his tenure in the United States Military and having begun his career 20 years earlier, Ray started real estate development in 1986--planning and entitling a 650 single family/townhome/condominium project located in Harford County, MD. Naturally after this initial successful endeavor, he became actively invested in the industry and continued to spearhead growth of housing throughout the greater Baltimore region. He has a keen eye for visualizing spaces that could better serve local residents, and has been an active contributor to the Baltimore real estate community ever since.

Prior to his foray in land development, Ray spent time learning the industry as a property appraiser in various capacities, including the buildout of Baltimore's East/West Expressway. He continued furthering his financial literacy through the management of Modern American Companies where he focused on pension benefits and finance, inevitably aiding in the founding and selling of the successful First Women's Bank of Maryland following a 10 year board tenure.

Being an avid enthusiast and collector of classic cars throughout his life, Ray has served on the board of the Classic Car Club of America as National Director for 9 years. In addition, he's an active member of the Delray Beach Club, previously leading as their President.

Evan began his career in 2015 with a large, multi-national public accounting and consulting firm where he gained an understanding of challenges faced throughout many facets of a business's operations; he advised and served both public and private sector clientele across industries including real estate, banking & finance, insurance, manufacturing, government contracting, nonprofit and public service. Evan provided services including financial statement/accounting auditing and analysis; business process improvement and documentation; risk assessment and management; asset valuation; qualitative and quantitative data analysis, consolidation, structuring and reporting; strategic planning; business intelligence gathering; project management; technological maturation; policy creation and implementation; internal control evaluation; and customer relationship/user experience design.

This broad exposure to clients, industries, and topics afforded him the opportunity to refine his understanding and expertise of priorities that make a business thrive. Clearly defining and understanding complex problems and tailoring unique, effective, and efficient solutions flowed well into providing value to the Iron Horse team when he came on board in 2022. Since then, Evan has honed his skills in identifying underutilized spaces, and acting as a liaison between landowners, local governments, and builders/engineers to design and develop use cases that ensure communities have all they need to thrive.

Outside the office, Evan spends his time on two wheels--namely a bicycle. He's partnered with The Ability Experience, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting people with disabilities and promoting the abilities of all, in multiple fundraising initiatives and projects whereby he's traveled both nationally and internationally on a bike to engage in service projects supporting the disabled community.
